Visitors to the area can also enjoy day trips to nearby Biltmore House, drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, or take walks in the historic downtown areas of Asheville and Hendersonville. During your stay, take in a play at Flat Rock Playhouse or pay a visit to the home of famous poet and writer, Carl Sandburg.

Looking for a more athletic activity? There are many fine public and private golf courses within driving distance. Or how about a hike to see one of the many area waterfalls?
